Shin Megami Tensei fans have a lot to look forward to...

If you're a SMT fan like me, you will know that they are developing Persona 2: Innoscent Sin, Devil Survivor: Overclocked & Devil Survivor 2. I for one can't wait for them to come out. On a downside though those of whom live in the EU, like me, will not be able to play on Devil Survivor: Overclocked unless they have an american 3DS, but hopefully in time hackers will find a way around the stupid region protection.

There is now a new trailer availible for Devil Survivor: Overclocked, which can be found on the official website (just Google it lol xD).

Also Persona 4 The Animation is coming out in Autumn!!! I can't wait and hopefully in time it will be dubbed :D

Reasons to learn Japanese

Lets face it, there are many great games that never make it out to the US or EU ad will forever remain in Japanese. So therefore there is already one great reason to learn Japanese, but if that's not enough for you there are many other reasons too.

1. It will improve your job prospects
2. It makes you more intelligent
3. You will be able to live in Japan without any language barriers
4. You can get some games before they come out over seas!!!!!! (If you don't mind it being in Japanese) :p

Region lock by passing for various consoles :)

PS2:
Yeah I know it's quite old, but there are still plenty of great games on it so here is one way to bypass it's region lock. You can buy something called Magic Swap, which can be found at various modding shops across the world. It comes with 2 discs (one for CD-ROMs and one for DVD-ROMs) and some wierd little bits of plastic and metal. You insert them in various places on the PS2 and after that is done you insert one of the discs and then when prompted you insert the imported game. This is a great piece of equipment because it also allows you play imported PS1 games too! It isn't expensive and most of the time you do not need to break the seal on the PS2 so it won't void it's warranty!

Wii:
The easiest way is unfortunatley the most outdated way and therefore can hardly be used anymore :(. Code Junkies made a thing called Freeloader, which allows you to play on any game for the Wii console. Unfortunately it only works with Wiis of version 3.2 or lower :(. I don't know what mine is hopefully it's lower ^_^.

Another way is to use homebrew, which you can buy online and download it to your wii. This will allow your Wii to play imports. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ONLINE JERKS! Homebrew is a totally free softmod and under no circumstances should you have to pay any money to use it.
There is always the option to mod the consoles, but I prefer to keep my warranties intact :p

Why Region locks should be banned!

Region locks are one of the most pointless things on earth! They disable people from playing imported games that aren't availible in the player's country of origin! All they really do is damage the economy of various countries!

The excuses for region locking are really lame, for example, Nintendo stated that they put the region lock on the 3DS because of the various different rating systems throughout the world - PEGI, ESRB, CERO etc. and that a 3DS from lets say the EU would trying to play an NSTC game would void it's parental lock because of the different rating systems. This is stupid. If this is the case they should only make it so that 3DSs with the parental lock on it can't play imported games! One of the reasons people loved Nintendo hand helds so much is because of the fact that they have always been region free!

If there is ever any news on bypassing the Nintendo 3DS region lock I will let you know straight away!
